The Rebirth of the Monte Carlo Beach Continues

After setting her distinguished seal on the new identity of the Monte Carlo Beach which was unanimously acclaimed by the international press, India Mahdavi is pursuing the metamorphosis by revamping the hotel’s exterior. Working closely with her is landscaper, Jean Mus, who designed the Mediterranean gardens of the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel. The outdoor areas of the hotel, more than its interior, have been most reminiscent of the legend of the Monte Carlo Beach since the Roaring Twenties. The Riveria's most famous Olympic-size pool now unveils a lovely lining in polychrome mosaic. The terrace of Le Deck and the facades of the adjoining buildings now blend together in the Beach's new color, terra-cotta red. The congenial bar and ice-cream parlor, a favored spot of the regulars, had a slight location shift and now opens up to a magnificent view of the coast line. The second part of this rebirth is the creation of a spa offering a hammam and three luxurious treatment rooms using the products from the La Prairie line and the knowledge of Les Themes Marins of Monte-Carlo. In December 2009, the Monte Carlo Beach officially joined the league of the most luxurious hotels in Monaco by acquiring its fifth star.
